For myself, this film began with a lunch meeting with Gareth Edwards in Santa Monica California back in 2019. I of course knew of his work, stunning visuals, raw and beautiful photography with complex characters existing in equally complex worlds, but I didn’t know him personally. And that’s where my involvement on The Creator began. The rest of the story will have to wait until the film’s release on September 29th 2023!
